Hi everyone, I'm very bored right now so here I am updating.
A few days ago, I was also very bored and went to walk around at Nex. I like to go to Nex because there is a great variety of shops there with good stuffs.
When I reached, I was very hungry so first thing I did was to find something to eat. There are many restaurants in Nex, especially on level 1 and at b1/b2. This time I went for Idaten Udon.
My meal : Carbonara udon, chicken gyoza and cream croquette. The carbonara was quite nice with a good umami taste however I found the chicken a bit taste unfresh and I saved it by dipping it in my DIY mix of soy sauce, gingers and spicy powder. Gyoza was a bit dry and I was a bit sad that I didn't have a vinegar base sauce to dip it with but it taste a bit better with the soya sauce mix. The cream croquette was nice, next time I will just grab it to eat as a snack while I walk around.
Before beginning my adventure I went to seven eleven to buy peely gummies and this m&m chocolate bar. For some reason, the chocolate bar is a limited edition item but I hope that can change. The gummies is freaking fun to eat too, I like to bite the outer layer before I eat the filling inside. Unfortunately, its getting hard to find now :(
After that, I started walking around. I can't remember all the shops that I went to especially those that nothing caught my eye but I remember I went to pets safari. I like to go there and look at the cute animals. Unfortunately, photography is not allowed so there's no pictures to show but I remember there was a cute netherland dwarf rabbit with dutch rabbit fur pattern that was super cute! There was also a lot of cute puppies. I even saw two puppies snuggling together while sleeping <3
Ok anyway, first stop I went to after that is the bandai gashapon area right outside pets safari. I don't usually play gashapons because I don't collect figurines, so I'll only spin if there is machine that has items with a practical use.
I decided to try this machine. It cost 4 tokens (1 token = SG $2) and let's see what I got!
I got the Kuromi pouch! Okay, its quite nice and the colour is more like a hot pink in real life as compare to the reddish colour shown on the poster.
But I was hoping to get the tote bag so I abit disappointed la. Lol.
After that was Daiso and of course whenever I go there I will go to the Sanrio section first!
Cute clear pouches! To be honest, I had one of them before (design not shown in this picture) and it broke quite quickly so I am still hesitant to buy it again :(
However they are still very aesthetic! The mermaid theme one looks so dreamy!
I'm sure you must have notice this series of pouches in the background of the previous pics. Yes, these are also very cute and I had the one with Tuxedosam's face before! The new design with heads all over is also super cute. I would have gotten the Melody or Little Twin Stars one if I didn't win the kuromi pouch from the gashapon.
Another section I like to go to at Daiso is the disney stuffs section. I didn't find the stuffs there as cute as the sanrio stuffs with these exceptions. I feel that the minnie and mickey ones will be suitable for ppl who wears jirai / larme kei often and as for the aristocats one, I just took it because I love cats haha.
Whats a daiso trip without going to the stickers section! The desserts and drinks one is so freaking cute. I'm so regretting not buying it. The reason I hesitated is because "I alr have too many stickers".
Silly me, theres no such thing as too many stickers!
Seeing the natsumatsuri and panda one also made me happy because I always enjoyed going to natsumatsuri with my friends and eating to my hearts content. As for the panda one, one of my ex crush was nickname Panda. I never had the courage to confess to her but I really enjoy the feeling I had when I liked her. Ok romantic essay over.
And last but not least is the beads section! To be honest, I don't do beadworks often but I like to look at the beads because they look like little candies in the bags and it's cute and makes me happy haha.
Next stop was Popular and they also had a few cute things!
This caught my eye because I love to make sticker deco style toploaders for my photocards! If I were to buy, I will get the Melody one because the pastel colours are so cute. Although if its really made by pasting stickers, it might get scuffed eventually...
A few more other things that caught my eye were these plushie keychains, sanrio pouches and chiikawa coin pouches.
The sanrio pouches design reminds me of Angelic Pretty's Neon Star Diner print! One of my dream lolita items. (Update : I ended up finding the melody / kuromi one at anchorvale daiso a few days later and buying it haha.)
These characters are so cute! I saw them before but I didn't know they have names haha. The names are super cute too, I especially like that Otata and Shizora have names relevant to their animals (otter, shih tzu). And Greny Cat reminds me of Mewkledreamy!
There was a few more Singapore themed souvenirs at popular also but I only took this one because in case you didn't know I love cats. I really like that they have this section at popular because now I don't have to go all the way to Haji Lane or Lucky Plaza etc to buy souvenirs for ppl visiting Singapore.
After popular I went to look at a few more shops, but there weren't many things that caught my eye and then I was pretty hungry so I went to Tim Hortons.
I decided to try the maple glaze donut and ice tea. The ice tea was nice even though I didn't add any sugar to it, I'm starting to prefer less sweet teas these days and it was a good thing because the donut was so crazy sweet. I should have got the large size for the tea because after I finish it the sweet taste was still lingering in my mouth.
Finally after this I went to Cold Storage to do some grocery shopping and then went home.
